Adele Lopez Tagaloa is a dedicated public servant, serving her second term as a General Board Member at the Orange County Employees Retirement System. She was first elected in 2020 and began her latest three-year term in January 2023. After finishing her one-year term as Chair of the Board, she is now chair of the Audit Committee and a member of the Investment and Building Committee. 

A proven leader, Ms. Lopez Tagaloa brings a wealth of experience from her various roles at the County of Orange Registrar of Voters, the Orange County Employees Association, several non-profits, and the semiconductor sector. As a third-generation union worker, she is deeply committed to fighting for workplace fairness and ensuring that public servants retire with dignity. She has seen firsthand the transformative impact of a defined benefit pension program on the lives of retirees, current members, and their beneficiaries.

Passionate about pension governance, democracy, organized labor, and equal access to education and opportunities, Ms. Lopez Tagaloa devotes her spare time to volunteering for the local chapter of Best Buddies. She also serves as Vice-President of the State Association of County Retirement Systems (SACRS), Board Member of the Orange County Employees Association (OCEA), sits on the City of Anaheim Community Services Board for District 2, and is a delegate for the Orange County Labor Federation.
