OCERS takes the privacy of its members very seriously.  Accordingly, OCERS has taken steps to protect your private information. 

OCERS uses encryption software to protect passwords and sensitive private data such as Social Security numbers.

OCERS collects personal member information for the sole purpose of assisting members.  No information is collected without member consent.  OCERS is the sole owner of any personal information collected and does not sell, share, or otherwise distribute any personal member information unless required by law or by court order.

OCERS is subject to the California Public Records Act (CPRA). Under the CPRA and cases interpreting the CPRA, OCERS is required to disclose certain member information upon written request. You may review OCERS’ Public Records Request Policy for additional details.
